The innovative wheel and steering concept for scrubbersweepers optimizes existing systems of renowned manufacturers. Improved coverage of the surface to be cleaned is achieved by the noticeably improved manoeuvrability and steerability especially in tight and crowded spaces.

With a special arrangement of rigid and free-wheeling wheels, it is now possible to achieve the principle of instantaneous pole steering. With this new development, the instantaneous pole line is always vertical to the direction of travel. This achieves improved manoeuvrability and significant steerability. Additional cleaning "by hand" is not normally required, since even corners and edges are easily reached. The patented new steering capability produces clearly improved cleaning and a noticeable saving in time, in particular for the problems that arise in practice.



Through the new concept, the staff in service industries employed in department stores, supermarkets, railway stations and airports, etc., benefit from a considerable saving in time. Companies benefit from a major cost advantage. Where the operators are concerned, the new driving and steering functions are soon mastered.

This innovation is one of the patent portfolios that was chosen for a patent value fund* and now has been further developed and subsequently commercialized as part of a processing strategy by IPB.
